Do you provide 24 / 7 support?
At Mr. Nerd, we have staff monitoring our servers and network 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, all VPS's are unmanaged and do not come with technical support. If you run into a problem with your VPS, please post your question on our community forums.

Do you perform any backups?
Since all VPS's are unmanaged, we do not back up your VPS. We give you the option to make backups yourself via the control panel and highly encourage you to do so. We are not responsible for any data loss.

What hosting control panel do you offer?
We use SolusVM to manage our VPS nodes.

Can you provide a Dedicated IP?
Each VPS comes with 1 IPv4 dedicated IP and 5 IPv6 dedicated IPs. If you need additional IPv4 IPs, they are $2.50/month each.

How long does it take to setup my account?
Account activation is done manually, it can take up to 24 hours, however usually it's within a few hours.

What are the hardware specs on the VPS node?
Each VPS node has Dual Xeon CPUs, up to 24 gigs of ram and a Raid-10 storage unit. We only buy quality Dell hardware brand new from Dell.

Do you filter any ports?
We do not filter any ports on any of our VPS's, they are wide open for all ports.

What can I install on my VPS?
You have full access to your own VPS, you can install or store anything you want -- as long as it's legal in the United States.
